hey darren I Would say go for red one camera is the best one for chroma shoot. The person who is shootin has to take care of right exposures......has to have a good lighting
check these guys setting up the stuffs.lighting and all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjvqsB2EAuc&feature=related This link can also be usefull http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/242/5066 also if you shootin from red one camera.......remember redone camera often shows you brighter image on lcd screen and its viewfinder .from what you are actully recording......there are few tools which red provides for proper exposure.i am sure the dp must be knowing abt it.......... also keep in mind that red gives you R3D format.......so you have to convert it before comping .well nuke reads the r3d format......i prefer converting it...... For the XDCAM option a big no http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/8/1136568 Regards Nishith On Thu, Sep 27, 2012 at 4:53 PM, Darren Coombes < [email protected]> wrote: > Hi, our producer has just asked the question about which camera to use for > a greenscreen shoot. > > I haven't been given much detail though, as to the exact camera model > info.
