I had the same issue and it drove me insane - ive moved over to linux mint - 
now nuke working better than ever

Still almost any time I make a change, to get the node graph to update I have 
either:



-take a floating properties window and wipe it over the Node graph



- move the entire Nuke interface and zoom in or out



it's driving me insane.
