Hi Adam,

an option to get around the ARM/x86 issue (in case you like to tinker with stuff like that):
there might be a chance running bochs (an x86 emulator).
http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=13161 <http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=13161> if it's possible to run win95 on it, a slim linux with a flexlm server should be possible, too.
a bit nerdy and cumbersome, obviously.
also, i heard that some license server softwares don't allow to be run within virtual machines. don't know whether this is the case for flexlm, too...

the more straight-forward solution is the usb network adapter, obviously.

Raspberry Pi is an Arm chip, not x86, so you can't run the Foundry license server software on it.

Hey
I just had a thought, do you think you could use one of those USB
size linux computers you can get these days?

The Raspberry PI ones does that run normal linux software?

    Hey all

I guess this is more of a support question but I think I will
    start my research here.

Its come to that time that I should purchase a personal copy /
    license for myself of nuke.

So my question is, I know you can get a floating license but is
there way this license be on a USB key or (i do hate this word)
dongle so that I can use it on my home machine and when
travelling use it on my lappy or even when am at a studio that
does not have a copy of nuke stick it in that box and use nuke.

I don't really want to carry around my lappy and use it as a
    license server.
