1-pt uses the same filter as the tracker uses, to in theory it will be more
accurate.
In practice its not always a great idea since it is a sharpening filter,
and it creates crazy values in some cases

if you want to know what the difference between settings are in situations
like this, just
hover the mouse pointer over the knob and a little tooltip will appear with
descriptions
