Thanks alot. Yeah, I've just started out and watched some tutorials, but the issue I'm having is that the camera tracking doesn't seem to work that well, but perhaps it does in fact, and I just have to learn to tweak it to produce an effective track?
The reason using the 2D track imo is you can adjust it very easy and based on those points you should be able to calculate a perspective and solve a camera track on those. Like I remembered from how maya live worked when I used it a long time ago. However this was just pixel based and I guess tracking has come a long way since then, so perhaps I should just learn the new method which seems to be alot faster =) But the question wtill remain, can you use the 2D track and calculate a camera move based on that?
