You can.. with a couple of options. 1) First start by changing the viewer "camera" pulldown from default to your camera. Ctrl + click the camera icon and it should turn green. now you are moving your camera with the view controls. 2) In nuke 7 you can position your view how you want it. Then from the viewer "camera" pulldown choose create camera from view.
