Hey Andreas! MAC? I've had this with deadline and I set the env variables not using bashrc but the other way Mac can run exports. I can't remember what that is at the mo, but might prompt someone on the list.
Sounds like somehow you're not exporting your plug-ins either way. Sort that and you should be fine. Linux? Export correctly and should work Windoze Again setting this should work though never run deadline on the same machine on windoze.
