Look at http://www.scipy.org/Porting_to_NumPy for information (and patches) on how to convert ScientificPython and MMTK to use NumPy. I managed to get the codes to build and install but they are not tested. Any problems you encounter would be useful to know about. You can patch the code by changing to the top-level directory and entering patch -p1 < patch_file If it works for you, please email the developers and let them know how easy it can be (hopefully).
