Hi,

I rebuilt the python with -enabled_shared to resolve the following error:
/usr/bin/ld: /usr/local/lib/libpython2.7.a(cobject.o): relocation
R_X86_64_32S against `PyCObject_Type' can not be used when making a
shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/local/lib/libpython2.7.a: could not read symbols: Bad value

However, there is a new error with this rebuilt python "ImportError:
/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/numpy-1.8.0-py2.7-linux-x86_64.egg/numpy/core/multiarray.so:
undefined symbol: PyUnicodeUCS2_AsASCIIString".

Does anyone know how to fix this error?

Thanks!
