I just wanted to add some context to Habib's questions. We were discussing CLA and SPARC on IRC this morning, when Rik noticed Habib's email address was from Fujitsu and posted this [1]:
================================ The most recent commercial iterations of the SPARC processor design are the Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd.'s eight core"Venus" 128 GFLOP, 2.0 GHz SPARC64 VIIIfx introduced June 2009, which is used in the 8 petaFLOPS Japanese supercomputer "K computer", SPARC64 X "Athena" introduced in August 2012,[2] and the 16 core SPARC T5 introduced by Oracle Corporation in March 2013, running at 3.6 GHz. ================================ So for those of you wondering why someone would want to get NuPIC running on a SPARC system, that right there is an extremely good reason. Let's help this guy out!
