Hello NuPIC, I'm happy to announce that we have our first official release of NuPIC!
The README now only includes binary installation instructions from packages created off the 0.1.0 tag in git [1]. This is the preferred way for new users to install NuPIC. As new releases are created, they will be published to pypi [2] and S3 (for linux) so users can properly update their installations through the pip interface. Not all linux platforms will install properly, so if you run into a problem, please respond with the error you received so I can create a ticket. Instructions for source code installation are linked from the README. Installing from source code is still required for users to keep up with ongoing development.
