Hello NuPIC, Our Java port of HTM [1] has gotten a lot of TLC recently from David Ray (the creator) and other contributors from the community. Thanks to all of you for putting effort into this! This port is getting a lot of interest!
David Ray wanted me to mention that very recent changes have optimized object creation resulting in reduced memory pressure and Garbage Collection when creating Proximal Synapse/Pool objects. All users of htm.java would benefit from updating their code to this version. So, if you're using htm.java, please update to your codebase by downloading from GitHub [2] or pulling the most recent changes.
