thanks for that link, the material there-in is quite fascinating.

i am also looking out for material which would gently guide me on the
implementation (in software) aspects of 'nupic'.

my background is in software development, though, i haven't written a
single full-blown program in the past 8 years (due to demands posed by
my current hierarchical position).
