When you ran "python setup.py install --user", the 'pycapnp' python module should have been installed. Can you show us the console output from that installation command so I can see if there was a failure? Also, you can install it manually by running "pip install pycapnp", which might fix your setup, but I'm still interesting in the console in case there was an installation problem that was not reported as a failure.
