** Less than 48 hours before the first Democratic Presidential debate in Las 
Vegas and...

* The commercials are airing,
* The campaigns are campaigning,
* The candidates are preparing,
* The pundits and pollsters are warming up their crystal balls, and
* Right Now, LUX2016 is continuously monitoring the societal perception of all 
the candidates and all the issues in real-time.

During the previous two Republican debates LUX2016 has provided insight into 
winners and losers while the debate was happening; a full 12 to 24 hours before 
the pundits and pollsters were able to come to a consensus.  LUX2016 is a 
mechanism of sensing societal perceptions faster and more accurate than polling 
and focus groups as it taps directly into primary data sources and is not 
filtered by a selection process or biased by survey instruments.  During the

Here at ICG we are making LUX2016 even smarter and better every day.  Just in 
time for the Democratic debate we have added additional data sources, enhanced

 ) improved our proprietary sentiment analyzer, added analytics to predict the 
gender of authors, and are working feverishly on a political party predictor.

All these enhancements will be invaluable as the 5 Democratic candidates will 
likely focus much more on policy and issues; highlighting the ability of 
LUX2016 to detect fine-grained, nuanced insight about how the public feels 
about each message, each candidate delivers, for each issue, as they deliver 
the message.

We have also added several new projects focusing on key aspects:
* Campaign Issues:  Summarizes the aggregate activity for 28 pore-defined 
issues.  This project will identify and measure the resonance with the public 
for each issue.
* Candidates:  Summarized the overall candidate activity by the public.  The 
project detects and compares each candidate’s perceived support.
* Candidates with Sentiment:  Even more detailed information about each 
candidate and publics sentiment about them.
* Distinct Authors: Monitors the unique authors “talking” about each candidate.
* Issue - <28 predefined issues>:  Analyzes each issue by candidate and 
sentiment for a very nuanced understanding of message effectiveness.  Also note 
you can easily create your own issues as well.
