All, For anyone who have worked on hierarchy in Nupic. Here is a question Assume the following scenario
-----------------Higher Region ----------------------------- Temporal Memory Active Columns: 11001100 SDR Active Columns: 1100110010100 -----------------Lower Region ----------------------------- Temporal Memory Active Columns: 11001100 SDR Active Columns: 1100110010100 Encoded Value : 11011 Raw Value : Cat ----------------------------------------------------------------- In the above example i am feeding the SDR of a single value to a higher region . In this case what does the higher region learn? Do you feed a union of a series of input sdrs at a time instead?
