Right after installing the sources, the answer is no. You need to compile some common stuff too, for which we have no separate options available. The question is, why do you want to do that in the first place? If you just want to change some things in the clients and don't want to recompile the whole lot (which can take quite some time), just do your modifications in the clients directory and run 'make' there again. In that case, only the changed sources will be recompiled and new clients will be build.
