Please run the following command

   /path/to/usbhid-ups -DDD -a upsname > Smart-UPS1500RM.log 2>&1

Are you interested in the same output from APC Smart-UPS RM 3000VA ?

dkserver:/etc/nut# udevadm info --name=/dev/bus/usb/001/004 --attribute-walk | grep -i product
    ATTRS{product}=="Smart-UPS 3000 RM FW:666.6.I USB FW:7.4"

dkserver:/etc/nut# udevadm info --name=/dev/bus/usb/001/003 --attribute-walk | grep -i product
    ATTR{product}=="Smart-UPS 1500 FW:653.12.I USB FW:4.2"

And maybe also from my 1500 which is not RM?

Yes and yes. For regression testing I keep an archive of report descriptors. This allows me to parse them again at any time. It is also helpful to see which of the listed reports is actually used, so we always ask for about half a minute worth of output (which should give us a rough idea about the use of the interrupt pipe). Thanks in advance.

Best regards, Arjen
