Sorry for the multiple posts . . . .
Took another look, and whadda you know . . . not sure what I had done,
but had moved the git pull to a more sane name than just "nut", so my
repull earlier was not what I looked at.
I pulled yet again, and get this:
Network UPS Tools - BCMXCP UPS driver 0.28 (2.7.1-signed-62-gf46e78b)
RS-232 communication subdriver 0.20
So again, I appear to have wasted your time . . . and I thought that I
had triple checked this time prior to posting! Not exactly certain
when/how the old pull got there . . . I think on my main server the pull
was new, and maybe I had an old one on my dev box, and mixed and matched
. . . .

Is it possible that the driver is left over from another package?
