I am having some strange issues.

My index that i am working with is about 50 million
pages now and i keep on getting catalina errors on
jakarta 4.0.30 and 5.0.19 running on Sun JVM 1.4.0_2

However with Jakarta 5.0.19 and IBM JDK 1.4_01 it
seems to work fine.

Is there a limit of what a single server can work
with? I'm just testing the indexes on a xeon as i
build pages, would it be best to start pushing
indexes/segments to the query servers before i test
when i hit a certain threshold?

I have 2 gigs of memory and an 8 gig swap on this
server and i did do a fresh reboot. I had so many
issues with the latest index (about 8 million pages)
that i even deleted the index and re-created it. At
first i was getting lucene errors and then after
rebuild i got memory errors.
