Hi Olaf,

cool thanks a lot for your offer.
I have used Grinder for a while and I have got some time
in the next days.

We just need an new ant task that integrates the grinder tests in our build script.
From my point of view we only need stress http requests to the search.jsp and a servlet I will name "find".
I will provide cactus tests, so may be it make sense to run the cactus tests under load as well.
The result should stored in a log file, but as far as I had had read - grinder already provide this.
Anyway I never used grinder, so your are the expert and all suggestions are welcome. ;)

Thanks a lot!
Greetings,

Stefan

Please mail me, what features you
would like (in German if you want to).

Regards
Olaf

Hi nutch community,
as usual in software development I'm behind my personal time table. ;/
Since my personal time resources for implementing the improved web ui are limited, it would be great if someone can invest 2 hours to help me.
Please!? ;)
We need a web ui stress test. I already had evaluated the available tools.
Looks like the grinder is the best available tool for our needs.
It supports http, https and junit test runs from one or a set (!!) of clients.
I already had implement some Cactus test for the old jsp and the new servlet based ui.
There will be a new ant task that start up tomcat (or what ever), deploy the *.war and the tests, run the test and shutdown the container.
So we can run the ui tests in our nightly build as well.
What we need is a grinder setup that is triggered by an ant script.
So at least it is setup some properties in the grinder.properties file and write an ant task.

Thanks a lot for contributions.
