Right, you con define as many 'extension' implementation to a 'extension point' as you wish. But the extension-point id need to be unique and should be defined only one time, for example in the not yet existing plugin.xml of the nutch core.
Perhaps this is also the reason that QueryTest sometimes fails...
I will look into fixing this, adding a plugin.xml for the core which defines all of the extension points. It probably won't be today (since it is my birthday) but hopefully I can get to it tomorrow.
