Hello, as mentioned some weeks ago i've written a nutch plugin for parsing and indexing Excel sheets. The plugin is based on the already available MS-Word plugin and relies on the POI libraries : poi-2.5.1-final-20040804.jar poi-scratchpad-2.5.1-final-20040804.jar poi-contrib-2.5.1-final-20040804.jar
I have tried to create a patch (from withing Eclipse) to submit it to the sourceforge bugs list but i'm afraid that won't work because i'm not sure the jar files will be handled correctly when creating the patch as a txt file. How do you want me to present the new plugin so that it can be easily applied ? It's not just the source but there are numureous small changes that need to be applied before the indexing of the new contentype is taken into account and i would prefer to provide a patch but because of the location of the Jar files this seems to be a problem.
