Suggestions for the SERPs:
1. Restrict the page/hit descriptions so they are limited in width to 400 or 500px. It makes the results much easier to scan quickly.
2. Add bold emphasis for keyword hits to the page title and url in addition to the description. Again, makes scanning easier.
I am doing these for my own site. Would this be useful for me to contribute back once it's done? I don't know if there has been a discussion, or reason for the way it is.
