[Nutch-dev] updatedb does not work for already indexed segment

Hi, When running the crawling and indexing script – If we try to run the updatedb command on a segment which has already been fetched and indexed It just gives updating db and then it seems to hang. Has anyone faced such a problem? It will be a great help to know the reason of such a behaviour.
