price:[001000 TO 010000]This is a lucene query term.
Nutch will parse this string to "price 001000 TO 010000", and construct its own lucene term without any range query.
I think there is something wrong with the queryYou could either modify nutch, that nutch does not parse lucene range queries or write your own query too.

Maybe a look at the impelmentation of the range queries at http://nutch.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/twiki/view/Main/GeoPosition are intersting for you.
