This isn't normal, Nutch has no control over the actual Tomcat process so it
cant shut it down. Although, you might be running out of memory when your using
Nutch and that might cause the whole Tomcat application (Java more likely) to
fault and shutdown. You might also not have sufficient log settings, even when
you shutdown Tomcat gracefully it will log something in there.
Try allocating Tomcat a bit more memory and see what that does. You can also
run Tomcat at a much higher log level, maybe even the highest to see if it
prints something then.

I had setup nutch on linux machine , it is working fine , I am using
internet explorer as a UI browser , but after some time my tomcat get
shutdown automatically , in logs there is no error/exception , it is nornal
shutdown.
