I expect you modified the plugin.includes property in your
nutch-site.xml. Make sure that it includes scoring-opic among the
plugins listed. For example, mine reads:
<value>rubyspider-rdf|protocol-http|urlfilter-regex|parse-(text|html|js)|index-basic|query-(basic|site|url)|summary-basic|scoring-opic|urlnormalizer-(pass|regex|basic)</value>
