I'm working on a site that has several subsections, some of which are more
important than others. I don't have much control over the meta data of each
subsection. Ultimately I would like to be able to rank such that pages in
section A are "more important" than pages in section B. I've tried using page
boost, and I've had little success. Has anyone ever done anything like this?
Is this the kind of thing that Carrot2 is good at? I'm not looking to do
clustering, per se, but the idea is certainly similar. I'd appreciate any input
you all might have.

Thanks,
Ann
