I'm in the middle of trying to get to the minimal configuration required
to run Nutch as a searcher application in a web-app. I've got Nutch
installed and running with a minimal number of config files and jars in
my application's war file, but I still have dependencies on the
installed Nutch plugin directory at runtime.

I can see from the nutch.war web-application that the plugins are all in
the WEB-INF/classes/plugins directory, but there seem to be a large
number of them.

Can anyone offer me guidance as to the minimal plugin set required to
enable a search of an existing index? (For example, I believe the
parse-* plugins may be used when crawling, but not when searching an
index and so I don't need them in my war file).

Cheers,

Ian.
