Hi all,
When I try to retrieve the ParseData of one of the search results/hits,
I get a NullPointerException when the corresponding segment is missing:
nutchBean.getParseData(hit).getParseMeta()
Fair enough. Of course this should never happen. But just to be sure I'd
like to check if all the segments that my index is referring to, do
exist (in ${searcher.dir}/segments). Who knows, something might have
gone wrong while copying the segments to my search server, and I don't
like my users to find out these errors runtime.
Is there an easy way to check this? The NutchBean can give me the list
of segments in the segments directory, but how can I easily determine
the list of unique segments referred to by the index (the "segment" field).
Help would be appreciated!
Mathijs
