Hi all,
I am very new to the software programming world. Anyway, I was just
follwing the tutorial for nutch-0.8.1 and I followed all the installation of
JDK (1.5) and Tomcat 5.5 and Cygwin as well. However, when I enter bin/nutch
for the nutch dir in Cygin, it is giving me the following error. So I'm stuck
in the very early stage!
Here is my error:
$ bin/nutch
bin/nutch: line 14 $'\r': command not found
bin/nutch: line 15: syntax error near unexpected token '$' in\r''
'in/nutch: line 15: 'case "`uname`' in
I mean it might be very trivial but I have not done any scripting, so I am
unable to debug that. I'm hoping somebody will help me. Thank you for taking
your time.
