No, the Nutch web application uses a different searcher that is not as
complex or
as full fetured as the Lucene one.  I am currently using the Nutch web
application
and it does not meet my needs.  The Query parser is much less capable.

I need all the features Lucene has while searching.  That is why I asked for
a code
example of using Lucene to search a Nutch created index.

As far as I understand there is a difference in the segement reader that
hadoop employees and thus Lucene cannot nativley read a Nutch index
without including some of the Nutch / Hadoop classes.

This is what I am asking for is a small code sample to let me create a
searcher in
Lucene that is capable of reading my Nutch index.
