Hi Folks , As we know we have started this project more than 1.5 years ago but we all can agree that the current progress of the project is not sufficient. In my point of view this project has huge potential to be a popular and successful project. Unfortunately still we didn't get any attention from any commercial cloud vendor or users.
I think 2012 is a very significant year for this project unless we move this project in to right track we can't think about clear future. I like to suggest following steps to make some progress. 1.) Plan for first release within next few months, I think releasing what ever the component we have right now is OK. I hope having a release make some kind of a noise and bring some users as well. 2.) Provide simple configuration option. Since this project born within Tuscany project it's reasonable to have strong binding with Tuscany. But at the moment Tuscany is the only configuration option available. As I see this significantly reduce the user base of this project, I mean only subset of Tuscany users can use this project. We have to provide simple configuration option that does not depend on any 3rd party project while keeping Tuscany ( may be Spring as well) as other configuration options. WDYT ?
