I guess this move might make it harder for external developers to figure out what happened. That's also why I was saying that leaving the repository where it was with the DEPRECATED.txt file was the optimal approach.
BTW, here is an extract from our doc - it probably will need to be updated. I would have done it myself, however I'm having some issues with my build so I don't want to give advice on a newly changed project without having tested it successfuly. Here is a quote from the DAM doc: Development with Nuxeo DAM Nuxeo DAM source files can be retrieved for development using Mercurial<http://www.selenic.com/mercurial/> . Nuxeo DAM Source code The source code specific to the DAM project is located here: http://hg.nuxeo.org/nuxeo-dam/ To clone the Nuxeo DAM repository, use the following: hg clone http://hg.nuxeo.org/nuxeo-dam The main development branch is develop. To switch to this branch, use: hg up develop You can also update on stable branches, or releases tags. Stable branches are named from the Nuxeo DAM version: 1.0, 1.1, ... Release tags are named from the release version of Nuxeo DAM: release-1.0, release-1.1 == On Thu, Dec 1, 2011 at 8:36 AM, Julien CARSIQUE <[email protected]> wrote: > Hello, > > FYI, since the migration to GitHub was successful, I moved the deprecated > Mercurial repository > from http://hg.nuxeo.org/nuxeo-dam/ > to http://hg.nuxeo.org/old/nuxeo-dam/ > > Regards, > > Le 01/12/11 12:43, Thomas Roger a écrit : > > Due to some changes on the GitHub repository, please delete and clone > > again the Nuxeo DAM repository to avoid error / conflict. > > > > -- > > Thomas > > > > > > > > On 30 November 2011 22:49, Wojciech Sulejman <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> Just FYI, I learned about it earlier today.
