Hi, I'm running OpenSolaris 2008.05 on VirtualBox on my Mac. In my home network, the Mac reports two IP addresses on the 192.10.x.x range, for wired and wireless, following the pool of addresses assigned by the router. The addresses also change accordingly when I'm using the office network. OTOH, in OpenSolaris, the IP address found by nwam is 10.0.x.x. This is the address regardless of location - home or office. I'm curious to know how nwam assigns the address for OpenSolaris that is different from the address(es) used by Mac OS X. Is the OSOL address stored in a file somewhere?
