I like Code Golf. I haven't played in a while, but I think it's fun: http://codegolf.com/
What I don't like though is all the best solutions for the musical score challenge are in Perl: http://codegolf.com/musical-score This week's exercise is to: a) Produce working code that passes through at least the examples given on that page b) Figure out how to get onto that leader board You can take the leader board glory yourself, or we can work together next Friday on producing an optimal/tight solution together, which I'll submit on behalf of NWRUG. If, you know, we produce something in less than 95 bytes... Oh, and just so you know, you should probably capture the input with 'gets'. Four bytes gone already... This looks harder than it is, but should still stretch the mind a little and there isn't an optimal solution to be found on Wikipedia this time either. :-) -- Paul Robinson http://vagueware.com :: [EMAIL PROTECTED] :: +44 (0) 7740 465746 Vagueware Limited is registered in England/Wales, number 05700421 Registered Office: 3 Tivoli Place, Ilkley, W.
