We don't too well as a bunch of coders at marketing ourselves much. In fact, this has now become a major problem to the extent some firms are moving away from Ruby entirely.
Talking to Dave tonight, I realised doing something off nwrug.org might be worthwhile. I'm trying to work out how much we need though. I realise workingwithrails.com exists, as does the GeekUp job board, but neither seem to be great at beating the drum locally, and I'm thinking building a platform for recruiters, firms, entrepreneurs, etc. to find freelancers, dev firms and individuals looking for full- time jobs doing Ruby. In the past we've only seen a limited response to this kind of request. It's only worth doing if plenty of us want it. So, do people want this? And if so, what's the wish list? -- Paul Robinson http://vagueware.com :: [EMAIL PROTECTED] :: +44 (0) 7740 465746 Vagueware Limited is registered in England/Wales, number 05700421 Registered Office: 3 Tivoli Place, Ilkley, W.
