Hi -- I've converted a project from SVN to GIT, today -- it was a horrible job, and I had to resort to installing with mac ports in the end. Ugh. Anyway, it is all done, and now a proper GIT project. However, when I run my specs and features, they are an order of magnitude slower. One cucumber scenario that took about 20 seconds to complete (at most) is now taking over two and a half minutes. Can anyone offer any advice as to why that could be? I guess I need to hunt through all the services and database configs to make sure I'm not sending anything out to a remote host, but I'm pretty sure I'm not, anyway. So I'll go away & do that, I guess, but I thought I'd post here in case anyone recognised the problem. Happy Weekend! Doug.
