Hi Rob,
At my work we’ve gone from zero docker to a point where we had separate DB
servers and ~11 (off the top of my head) services and a private API layer all
in docker containers back down to using about 5 total - and usually all on the
same box now as well. If you want to have a chat about it, I think I’ll be at
this month’s NWRUG - happy to talk about it (as I’m sure Ric would be if he’s
attending).
Cheers,
A

Hi all, this is my first post so please be gentle, :)

I’m working on a new book: http://DockerForRailsDevelopers.com

I’d love to get some input from other developers who have heard about or
dabbled with Docker, but aren’t using it regularly. I’ve written a tiny survey
(only 1 question and should take seconds). I’d really appreciate it if you’d
share your thoughts: http://bit.ly/29zfYes

Also, if you’re experienced with Docker, I’d love to hear from you with any
tips/secrets/best practices for using it with Ruby apps/Microservices in either
dev or prod environments (or both). You can reply here, or email me directly at
[email protected].

Thanks so much,

Rob
p.s. to find out when it launches (plus discounts), and for occasional progress
updates, you can sign up at http://DockerForRailsDevelopers.com

p.p.s I posted this to LRUG this morning and got some decent feedback, but I'm
hoping that my University town and surrounds can show'em how it's done
