Well, unbeknownst to me the 802.11 spec evidently specifies that WEP keys
are only to be 5 characters long. My RG-1000 happily accepts any length of
key. As such a PeeCee friend was trying to access my network with Windoze
and was unable since my WEP key is 7 characters long. After the usual round
of Apple bashing, he paused long enough to speculate that Apple was just
ignoring some of the characters and actually sending only five for the key.
Anyone know what the case is here and how one connects to a WEP enabled AP
that has a long key (longer than 5 characters?)

Thanks,

Trys
