Sorry for the off-topic post, but this is the largest group of computer do-it-yourselfers I know of. If anyone happened to see the slashdot story about http://www.chordite.com, you know that John W. McKown has invented (and patented) a rather nifty-looking one-handed chording keyboard. You'll also know that he's offering the plans for download on his website for anyone who wants to try building one of their own. I am planning on doing this, it sounds interesting. :)
The downside is that while he has given the schematics for the (custom) circuit board used in this, you can only get them in lots of 9 from http://www.expresspcb.com. The price per board is very reasonable, but I don't want to be stuck with a lot of spares I'm not going to use. So, if anyone else here is interested, or even knows anyone who is interested in building one of these, please e-mail me off list and I'll be happy to place the order for the boards and get them to you at cost.
