Hello. I have a Proxim Orinoco "11b/g" pc card, and am trying to use it with Mac OS X v. 10.2.8. I've downloaded the wirelessdriver from sourceforge and also the viha driver recommended for use with KisMac. Neither one wants to work properly, or at all really. In the System Preferences, Networking panel, there is only the built-in ethernet, and ifconfig shows only one ethernet interface as well.
The WLanDriver.kext and WirelessDriver.kext are in /System/Library/Extensions/. The KisMac driver tool does not seem to do anything. Has anyone gotten this card to work with OS X, and if so, what did you have to do to get it to work?
