Hi all,
I have received several messages that the Western Grebe was seen at Piermont early this morning. However, the road is flooded and people have been using the sidewalk through the condos to by-pass most of the water. Around 8 AM the fog and rain decreased visibility to a point that the bird was no longer visible. On a better note, we have a volunteer with a boat willing to take a rehabber out to the bird. Now if we can find a rehabber willing to go out.
