December 14- From 11:10 to 11:55 I observed the Avocet at Dunkirk Harbor in the west corner near the conservation club building. Allen Benton also took a look at it. Also 86 Hooded Mergansers, 68 American Coots, 128 Double-crested Cormorants, 2 Canvasback, 2 Redhead,11 Great Blue Herons,and an immature Bald Eagle. Best Wishes for Great Birding, Bill Watson
