fwiw, I had a male Sharpie in my yard this weekend, noticed when I was wondering where all the sparrows were. Arie Gilbert North Babylon, NY Andrew Block wrote: The adult female Sharp-shinned Hawk was back again today chasing the house sparrows at the feeders.  It's so cool to watch how the hawks climb thru the trees and shrubs trying to chase one out.  It also flies right up to the shrubs and at the last minute swerves and lands in a tree to wait and see if the sparrows fall for the trick.  I love animal behavior:-)   Andrew
