Tom Brown and Juliette Goulet from College of Staten Island just called with news of a distressed Dovekie found ashore at Miller Filed, Staten Island--undoubtedly a victim of yesterday's storm.
A similar storm on 26-27 Dec drove a number of Dovekies ashore from southeastern New England to Long Island, so it would be worth checking the ocean shore today.
