Well since I seem to have opened Pandora's box, maybe I can close it. Peg Hart posted a very fair and reasoned response about her rehabilitators, who in my opinion did the right thing by checking it out and leaving it alone. So as Ken Thompson said, probably nature took its course, for better or worse.
