March 1, 2010 The two Lapland Longspurs remain on the lawn between the gazebo and the bathrooms at Jones Beach West End 2. At Point Lookout two Harlequin Ducks, a male and a female, were near the middle jetty. Also at Point Lookout was an American Oystercatcher (FOS), three Black Scoters, many Horned Grebes and a reduced number of common Eiders. Great Day to be out, Joe Giunta
