There was an Upland Sandpiper at Robert Moses SP, Suffolk Co., LI this morning. The bird was on the roadside grass a little east of the exit ramp to Field 4, or about a quarter mile west of the entrance to Field 5, around 9:00 am. Ken Feustel and others looked for it without success later in the morning.
